The Parts of the Grape
From the vine to the cluster. Learn the parts of the grape and vine that shape every glass you pour. Each part contributes something different, and the winemaker chooses how much of each reaches the bottle.

- 01
From Vine to Cluster
Begin with the whole plant: roots, trunk, shoots and leaves, and the cluster that hangs from a flowering shoot. Understanding where the cluster sits on the vine tells you what the plant was doing the year before.
- 02
Skin & Pulp
The skin carries colour, aroma compounds and tannins; the pulp holds the water, sugar and acid. Which part dominates the glass depends on how the wine is made as much as on the grape itself.
- 03
Seeds & Stems
Seeds bring their own tannins, green and astringent when unripe. Stems can add structure or bitterness, kept or removed by the winemaker's choice. Every part of the cluster has a voice in the finished wine.
The collection opens 2026. Previews will be free to anyone who wants to see how Vinlore thinks.
