About
A designer's brain, applied to wine study.

Hi, I'm Tricia.
My love of wine started, naturally, with drinking it. But somewhere along the way, enjoying wine turned into wanting to understand why it tastes the way it does.
The grapes. The places. The climate. The soils. The people. And all those tiny details that somehow make one patch of land produce something completely different from another.
Then came WSET.
When I began studying WSET Levels 2 and 3, I approached the enormous amount of interconnected information in the way that came most naturally to me as an interior designer, I thought visually.
Traditional notes and repetition alone weren't going to cut it.
So my study materials started to look a little different.
Illustrated notes. Mind maps. Hand-drawn maps. Colour. Connections. And small games I invented to make recall feel like something actually worth doing.
Slowly, studying stopped feeling like a chore and became a practice. Something creative, visual and dare I say it fun.
And that's where Vinlore began.
Vinlore takes that approach and turns it into a learning environment other wine professionals can use: a thoughtfully curated collection of interactive games, visual learning and creative challenges designed to help knowledge stick.
It's the wine study space I wish I'd had.
A place to play with what you know, discover what you don't, connect the dots and keep coming back until the grapes, regions, climates, classifications and countless other details finally start making sense.
A collection, not a quiz factory.
Because wine study can be serious.
Studying it doesn't always have to be.
Welcome to Vinlore.
Play. Learn. Master.
“I like learning about wine the same way I like drinking it. Slowly, curiously and with absolutely no intention of getting to the end.”
